Multi-Parameter Optimization Analysis of Hydrodynamic Performance for Rim-Driven Thruster

The efficiency of rim-driven thrusters (RDT) has always been the focus attention in context energy conservation and environmental protection. A multi-parameter collaborative optimization framework is proposed to improve RDT based on response surface method (RSM). common structural parameters RDT, including pitch ratio, disk ratio rake angle, are selected as design variables carry out Box–Behnken experimental combined with simulation data obtained through CFD calculations. second-order model employed evaluate extent which different can affect target variable obtain optimal hydraulic efficiency. results show that established high precision, good reproducibility strong anti-interference ability. influence angle open water decreases sequence. Compared prototype maximum optimized increased by 13.8%, pressure distribution flow field characteristics also significantly modified.
